Dattels & Company is a family-owned investment company based in Toronto. The company was established in 1949, and the client wanted this longevity to be emphasised within the branding.
We strived for a classy, vintage feel with the logo, where the ‘D’ featured is taken directly from the signature of one of the original co-founders. This not only makes the logo very personal to the company, but also the cursive style is classical and promotes the years of experience and professional service.
The colours used in the branding are inspired by the 1950s, featuring brown tones and pastel green highlights. The browns give a sepia effect which puts focus on the history of the company.
The serif font used for titles and headings is traditional, which ties in together with all the other branding elements to create a strong overall sense of class and reliability.
