Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) is an almost 150 year old charity which helps all animals across the island and sometimes beyond.
Its wildlife hospital is dated and no longer fit for purpose for the massive number of wildlife animals it cares for annually. The team at Delimited were asked to help with a campaign to raise well needed funds. The new hospital will be able to help more animals through many more dedicated rooms, specific areas for different types of animal such as seals and birds – as well as food preparation areas and storage spaces.
GSPCA Manager Steve Byrne met Justin, Thu Nguyet and Megan and showed them around the charity site where they got to see firsthand how the animals are cared for. It gave them a better idea about how the wildlife hospital is an essential part of developing the charity’s work.
Our aim was to create a printed leaflet that would be delivered to every household on the island requesting donations towards the new building. The result was a tri-fold leaflet which included information for potential donors as well the different options they could take to donate, whether it was online, by post or in person.
In order to stay on brand, we used differing shades of purple, as well as a legible typeface and images of the sort of wildlife that would be helped by the new hospital, plus plans of the new building. The cute hedgehog was a must for the cover!
Although the leaflet drop was a success, there are more donations needed. Please visit the GSPCA website for more information.
Thank you also to Guernsey Post for delivering the leaflets and to Colour Monster for the quick turnaround.
