Call Of The Wild

The White Lion Foundation, along with Preserve Our Wild and CCFA, approached us to help them brand and create printed products for an event they are running called Call Of The Wild. The event aims to raise much needed funds for endangered wildlife across the world through a gala evening at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park.

The brand had to have a luxury, classy and exclusive feel as the event is limited to 200 guests, held in a luxury hotel. The client’s brief was to create a logo featuring a gold lion’s head. We added the element of looking as if the lion had almost disappeared but reappearing, giving guests the symbolic message of endangered animals reappearing thanks to their attendance at the event.

In order to launch the event, the charities asked us to create a brochure including details of the event and sponsorship packages that guests can purchase in order to attend.

We designed the A4 brochure featuring photography of the endangered animals that would be helped, a serif font in grey and gold and the use of white space to infer exclusivity. It was also at this point that we chose to introduce a navy blue as a contrast to the gold. If you wish to read the brochure, please click here.

To publicise Call Of The Wild, we also created an invitation which was sent out to a guest list electronically using Greenvelope. This incorporates all of the elements featured in the brochure in order to keep cohesion.
