This year we are celebrating 10 years since our incorporation. To mark this important milestone, during the course of the year we have been undertaking a range of activities, including sponsorships, charity support and community projects. One such project was a new website for Castel Primary School.
The website is, by necessity, content-heavy and so one of the challenges was to ensure that users can easily navigate and find the information they are looking for. We used anchor links on pages where there is a large amount of text so that users can quickly access the right section. We also included accordion menus to allow for a seamless web page interaction and to save vertical space, leaving it up to the user to decide what they want to click on.
The colours used on the site mirror those of the school’s logo – the bright blue being used as the primary shade with yellow utilised for some of the text. We also included a Twitter (or X) post feed on the homepage to keep regular visitors up-to-date with the latest events and activities at the school and a policy library which is easy to find, read and update.
We were delighted that we were able to deliver a much improved professional site for the school.
