After completing a degree in modern languages at the University of Oxford, Adrian worked in the UK for five years. He lived through the inception of business PCs and multimedia publishing and found a niche in the professional training sector. Adrian was ahead of the market in discovering how to repurpose traditional study manuals via programming into thousands of multiple-choice questions, delivered across the UK to accountancy firms on floppy disks, before going self-employed in this new sector.
On returning to Guernsey, he repeated this success in the offshore finance sector by creating training courses before the World Wide Web arrived. Always innovative, he became well-known in the early days of internet services in Guernsey, while also working remotely with US vendors to support learning management systems in UK and European organisations. He has since worked in IT-managed services and business development and recently held an in-house role as IS Manager for a trust and corporate service provider. He is now bringing his extensive experience in technology change and project delivery to our clients.
Outside of work, Adrian swims competitively and has, for many years, helped organise the Guernsey Swimming Club’s international Masters swimming competition. He is often found swimming across Havelet Bay, having been a year-round swimmer for over 20 years.
