Thu Nguyet graduated from Keele University with a Dual Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Biochemistry. After her first ‘Introduction to Java’ lecture, it awakened her passion for IT and the rest is history.
She joined Delimited as Director with over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, having previously been a Senior Business Intelligence Developer in the Group IT function of TMF Group. Her background is in SQL, data migration, data integrity, data reconciliation and web development – skills and knowledge which she now uses to deliver solutions to Delimited’s diverse client base. Recently, she built on this expertise by successfully completing the BCS Level 4 Certificate in Data Analysis Tools and the BCS Level 4 Diploma in Data Analysis Concepts qualifications, adding even more depth to her insights in data-driven decision-making.
Thu Nguyet has an excellent eye for detail and has a palpable ‘can do’ approach. She has never lost her enthusiasm since that first ‘Java moment’ back at university.
Thu Nguyet came to Guernsey from Stoke-on-Trent, swapping the picturesque Peak District for the gorgeous sandy beaches and cliff paths. She settled in Guernsey after she married Justin whereupon she discovered a love for walking. Not satisfied with an hour or two strolling on the cliffs, she has completed the Saffery Rotary Walk twice, as well as a number of other charity walks around the island. Her less energetic hobbies include cross-stitching, crocheting, baking, reading and solving Sudoku puzzles although having two young sons takes priority over relaxation!
